Did I understand this correctly: you opened the burn dialog, selected the device, then unplugged this device and then pressed "burn"? Of course not. I opened the burn dialog, selected the device, and closed the dialog. then I unplugged the device, and tried to open the burn dialog again. instead of opening the burn dialog, k3b crashed.
