Here you can see the track "Down at the Crossroads" by Cosmosis from the
sampler "Guitars on Mushroom Vol. 1". In the collection tree view (sorted by
Artist/Album) it is placed under the artist Apollo Four Forty and the Album
"How Bizarre", which actually belongs to the artist OMC.

*lol* now that I filtered for "How Bizarre" it seems like my collection is even
more confused:
* The real album "How Bizarre" is correct (even though I think a track is
missing).
* All the tracks from "Guitars on Mushroom" are sorted under "How Bizarre" at
random artists.
* Für DJ Hooligan I even have a track "How Bizarre" (maybe the one by OMC
which is already under that album?) sorted in the album "Frühes Frühstück"
which is actually from Berend (who also has one of the Mushroom tracks).
* Under Various Artists I have a lot of the Mushroom tracks with the wrong
artists.
The actual ID3 tags and file names on the disk are correct.
I manually rescanned my collection (again) and now everything is fine. Guess I can't debug anything anymore :) yes, you need to do a rescan to ensure atf works. I *did* a rescan. Twice. But I think Icancelled the first rescan before it finished. Afterwards the collection was confused. Another rescan fixed it. |
