Sentry Crash Report:

Description Glenn 2006-07-01 16:57:30 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from: Mandriva RPMs
OS: Linux

I work two twelve-hour shifts each week that run from 17:30 - 05:30 hrs (also two twelve-hour day shifts, but those are not an issue <g>.) Entering these shifts with an eight-day recurrence, the first occurrence of each series, reflected as (1/2) and (2/2) for each portion of the shift (before and after midnight), respectively. Future occurrences are not reflected, however. The dates are bolded, as if the appointment exists, but no appointment is created there.

One workaround is to create two separate entries for each initial occurrence of the shift (1730-2359 and 0000-0530.) This isn't a very clean solution, though <g>.

Confirming this on gentoo using KDE 3.5.2 - 3.5.5-1 x86/x86_64
Comment 3 Reinhold Kainhofer 2006-12-31 19:05:30 UTC
The general problem is that recurring multi-day events have never been properly implemented (bug 42899), so I'm closing this report as a duplicate of the still-open report 42899.

Cheers, and thanks for reporting!
Reinhold
