Whether this functionality is available or not depends on which program you use for embedded image viewing. Please check Konqueror's "View|View Mode" menu and report back which program it is. If you are using the Gwenview kpart, this bug is a duplicate of bug 128633. Well, I've tried it with all three modes (Gwenview, Embeddable and KView) all three has problems: Gwenview: neither delete (move to trash) nor Shift+Delete (delete file) works. Embeddable: neither delete (move to trash) nor Shift+Delete (delete file) works. KView: delete (move to trash) does not work, Shift+Delete deletes the file without confirmation (while Konqueror's setting is to ask for confirmation)!!! Poor result. Dear user, KHTML (and KJS) was a long time more or less unmaintained and got removed in KF6. Please migrate to use a QWebEngine based HTML component. We will do no further fixes or improvements to the KF5 branches of these components beside important security fixes. For security issues, please see: https://kde.org/info/security/ Sorry that we did not fix this issue during the life-time of KHTML. Greetings Christoph Cullmann |
