Windos XP prints the same document all right with two exceptions: I have to select paper souce "bin 1" or "printer setting" (seems the printer itself is configured to use only bin 1) and the wizard for printing double sided does not work automagically (the printer can not print double sided, so I have to select "odd pages" first, feed the paper again and then print the even pages). * Printing double sided and/or 2 pages per sheet should be guided and work automagically: No average user knows what filters she needs for all this. In fact, it is all selectable in the dialog boxes, this implies it works w/o adding additional filters. * * there should be a consistent distinction between a "sheet" and a "page" throughout KDE (w.r.t. printing 2/4/... pages per sheet and double sided printing) Please only report one issue per report, test with a current KDE release before reporting and search for already reported bugs before filing a new report. Thanks! :-) |
