You can already do this: "open links in new tab instead of new window" and, under advanced, select "open new tabs in the background". That does not entirely resolve the feature request. For example, now I cannot open specific links via the context menu in a new tab in the foreground (I would have to change the setting each time I want to do this). Also, what about mouse button configuration? I have different story but the same wish. The mouse buttons configuration is rather poorly designed. It says "do X" -- and says nothing about what happens if you don't want to do X. So please provide normal configuration, like this: Middle mouse button: (*) do nothing ( ) auto-scrolling ( ) open link in selection Such design is clear, no guesses and has ability to do nothing. *** Bug 136879 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
