It's the right way round here (SVN r548320) Ok, I installed KDE from SVN and then a secont installation from Debian packages. They are both allright. Furthermore I asked a few guys and theu are fine too. I have absolutely no idea, why it is switched on my box. But I will close this report, considering my box as cursed. ;) Ok, I reopened this one. I figured out, when it goes wrong here. 1. start konqueror 2. Settings -> Hide Menubar 3. quit konqueror 4. start konqueror again (with hidden menubar!) 5. open context menu In my case, there is "Hide Menubar"(although it is already hidden) and if selected, there is "Settings -> Show Menubar" in the Menubar. So it is switched at least in this case. :) Created attachment 17090 [details]
Fixed inconsistency with hiding menubar in fullscreen mode.
So there's how to reproduce this bug:
a)start konqueror
b)make sure you're in windowed mode with menubar visible.
b)goto fullscreen mode (ctrl+shift+f is the default shortcut). The menubar is
hidden (I don't like this behaviour).
c)click right button to open a menu - there's a ,Hide Menubar' option, which
*shows* the menubar. Click it and now there's a ,Show Menubar' option inside
the Settings menu. It *hides* the menubar.
I attached a patch that fixes this confusion. It applies to 3.5 branch and to
the trunk as well. Tested on latest 3.5 SVN.
Confirmed as described in comment #4 |
