Description Marty 2006-06-18 05:06:35 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from: Debian stable Packages
OS: Linux

In the body of an email sent to me, there will be a box with an "x: in it wherever there was a smiley intended by the sender. There is nosmiley/emoticon in the body, but they are attached and are listed in the body at the bottom of the text instead of in the body where they were put (e.g., at the end of a sentence). They are also listed with the attachments. If i use Thunderbird, everything is fine, but not in my preferred program, Kontact. I tried checking and unchecking "Replace smileys with emoticons," but it is the same either way.
Thanks...

Can you attach such a testmail, please.

oh wow, i forgot all about that -- the problem evidently "resolved itself," so to speak.

Thanks!
