In the "Identities" dialog of the KMail setup is another setting where you can specify the language. That means I have two places where to set the spellcheck language: 1. Identities dialog 2. Composer Window It looks like that the first one overrules the second one. What is the second one good for? Either remove the second place, or make it in sync with the first option regardless where you change the setting. Or if you really need these two places add a text at the second place that in the first place the setting has priority. Additional Comment #1 Same comment! I do not understand this either! For me this would be the correct way: 1. KDE control center (=Default 1) 2. KMail/identity (=Default 2) overrules 1. 3. KMail/single message setting overrules 2. Am I right? Martin View->Dictionary and Settings->Spellchecker is not properly synched, see bug 79681. So KMail does remember the Settings->Spellchecker setting, but does not apply it to View->Dictionary, therefore this bug occurs. This also means that fixing bug 79681 will fix this bug. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 79681 *** |
