This is a minor bug that is very easy to fix and probably quite important from a legal standpoint. Kontact and its parts:

The copyright date on the about dialog is out-of-date and should end with 2006.

KDE-PIM bugs weekend: confirmed for kmail 1.9.5, kopete, korganizer and kaddressbook (all under KDE 3.5.3)

This may be a wider ranging problem:  for example, kicker has copyright 1999-2004!  Maybe the ending date should be set automatically to the release year, either when a release is tagged or in kdeui?
