Looks like a translation problem (though it seems to be in English, maybe the translation, besides being broken, is also incomplete?). Which language did you set KDE to? I kept the default language for everything (English) I have that problem, too. My environment is quite similar. Kubuntu Dapper, KDE 3.5.2, Amarok (both 1.4.0 and 1.4.1) I had a similar problem...but found that it was fixed after I set my Country Region/Language options (mine was Australia) under Regional & Accessibility in System Seetings. After a restart everything seemed back to normal. Seems like it could be a Kubuntu problem rather than an Amarok/KDE problem? I got the same problem here. I'm using Kubuntu dapper, kde 3.5.4 and Amarok 1.4.2 Setting the Country Region (it was Default before) fixed the problem. Thank you. *** Bug 138707 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Bug #138707 has an attached screenshot. *** Bug 139798 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I had the same problem and indeed it was fixed by setting the "Country or Region". I can also confirm it appears to be (K)ubuntu specific, as I had never experienced this problem when using SUSE. Translation issue: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/amarok/+bug/106772 |
