not a bug. growisofs simply does not provide the info I'm not concerned about the missing Device Buffer indicator - I already assumed this information would not be available. But the FIFO Buffer indicator is there sometimes and depending on this the burned DVDs are either readable everywhere or only in a burner. could you please provide debugging output from a burn without buffer information. This bug is only a detail but wouldn't it be possible to share the code used by wodim to read the device's buffer with growisofs (as a library for example) to solve it? I still have it with Debian Etch. |
