Hello,
the problem is that the file transfer with Kopete 0.12.0 (final) doesn't work at all with the Yahoo protocol, I mean that I can send files to someone, and he/she receive them, but when someone wants to send me a file, although I click "Accept" on the appearing window, after a sencond I get an error saying that "The person has canceled the action"
I'm runnig SuSE Linux 10.1. I opened the port 80 and I tried sending a file with the firewall disabled but it doesn't work.

Which client does the other user use?
Also it might be helpful if you could use a debug version and post the relevant debug output.

The other user is using Yahoo Messenger 7...
Thanks for the tip, I will try a debug version and I will come back with details.

This problem has reappeared for some time now ... I'm using kopete 0.12.5 and having problems with sending/receiving files on yahoo protocol.

Kopete 0.12.6: on receiving I get the dialog box asking to receive the file, but the file name does not appear and the file size is always 0 => I cannot receive files.

Kopete trunk: receiving seems to work now, sending does not.
