I am sorry to say that the current state of KWord is such that I can no longer use it for complex and fancy things.  I would like to be-able to use it and am waiting for the day when I can completely dispence with OpenOffice.org.  

The main problem I have encountered this weekend is KWord doesn't handle formula well, the problem with not saving formula in odf is been worked on but there is another problem.  KWord seems to hide and do random placement of formula.  Saving the file, which take a long time by any standards, seems to help with showing the formula but the placement seems a direct result of saving (using KWord format, can't use odf).  

Attached are two files, the pdf of what it finally looked like when everything worked and the kwd of saving it directly afterwards.  

I hope this will help the improvements in KWord and I would like to thank everyone who is working on KWord/KOffice, what it does, it does without comparison.
