Description Thorsten 2006-05-29 14:33:46 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.3KDE 1.2)
Installed from: Ubuntu PackagesUbuntu Packages
OS: Linux

I have configured my X-Server that it use the evdev protocol for my mouse. In Firefox now works the "Back" and the "Forward" buttons of the mouse(MX510), but in konqueror it doesn't work.

Konqueror configuration is the default, i changed nothing.

IIRC, Qt doesn't support more than 5 mouse buttons, so we don't receive the event in Konqueror.
Comment 2 Thorsten 2006-06-06 13:41:38 UTC
Did Qt support more than 5 mouse buttons in the future? Is there any feature scheduled?
Comment 3 David Laban 2006-08-13 03:21:15 UTC
Someone suggested that adding support for the extra buttons in khotkeys might be a cleaner way to implement this, and a range of other bugs. It would probably be independent of upstream Qt, as well, so maybe we can get it before Qt5 :P. It was bug 48062 comment 15, or something.

Any way to assign this to the khotkeys guys?
