Description S. Burmeister 2006-05-28 13:48:43 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

The term "event" can mean anything. The user pressing a key is an event, the screensaver starting is an event...

If one does not want to call it "notifications" than one could at least make the event more precise, i.e. "notification events".

Could you be more specific? Where exactly there are inconsistencies between event and notification nomenclature?

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
