Description Mathieu Jobin 2006-05-25 04:26:31 UTC
Version: 1.4.2_relight (using KDE 3.5.2, Gentoo)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.6 (Gentoo 3.3.6, ssp-3.3.6-1.0, pie-8.7.8)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.16-suspend2-r1-justbudget

here is the situation.
I have krita open, I copy an area of the image and paste it into kolourpaint. kolourpaint complains the paste is 24bpp while kolourpaint is set in mode 16bpp. I'm like, "ok, 16bpp is enough..."

I save my image,... kolourpaint allow me to save only in 24bpp.

double convertion ? can I choose the default for new files and saving resolution.

sometimes I want to be 16bpp all the way, or 24bpp all the way. I never want to switch in the process.

thank you

I am guessing I never properly understood this.

I am just gonna close my old report
