Sentry Crash Report:

Description Vincenzo Ciancia 2006-05-21 23:47:40 UTC
Version: 1.9.1 (using KDE 3.5.1 Level "a" , SUSE 10.1)
Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.16.13-4-default

If I start checking for new mail on my imap account and then delete it, kmail should stop checking for new messages and all other operations for that account, instead it keeps on doing operations that were in-progress before deletion if they've not been completed.

With DIMAP in my case, KMail 1.10.3 will continue interval-checking the deleted account even if no operation was in progress when the account was deleted.

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
