Version:           0.12 beta2 (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Compiler:          gcc version 4.0.3 (Ubuntu 4.0.3-1ubuntu5) 
OS:                Linux

Testing with a Yahoo video stream, I find that opening and closing the configuration dialog causes Kopete to cease capturing new video and instead continue to stream the last frame captured before the configuration dialog was closed.

My guess is that the dialog is turning off capture when you close it, regardless of the initial state and active Yahoo video session.
