Sentry Crash Report:

Description David Baron 2006-05-16 09:41:09 UTC
Version: 1.6.2 (using KDE 3.5.2, compiled sources)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.16-davidb

Sometimes, there may be a black, unpainted area in the window. Even as the view scrolls up and new lines appear, as in a compilation, this unpainted area remains blank.

Minimizing and restoring the window fixes this.

Noticed this occasionally in other apps so may be "deeper".

If it appears in other apps it is very likely not a Konsole bug.

What X Server are you using?

If this happens to other applications it is not likely to be a Konsole bug. I think the Debian community can provide more help on this one than we can.
