I like this idea. As far as I understand this correctly, you would be able to place your favorite imageplugins in the context menu. Created attachment 31061 [details]

This is hard-coded for now, but we could realize it in the way we setup kipiplugins in digiKam. This means have a tab in the setup dialog where you can set your favorite plugins to appear in the context menu.
