Sentry Crash Report:

Description Chris George 2006-05-10 05:45:09 UTC
Version: 0.12 (using KDE KDE 3.5.1)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
Compiler: gcc 4.1.0
OS: Linux

As mentioned in IRC the Global Identity Icon needs to be allow to be saved as jpg, gif, bmp, etc, pretty much most common formats. Currently this is preventing AIM icons from being sent from the kopete client.

My thought on that is that we don't need to be able to save using multiple formats, but we need to be able to send the icons using AIM.
To reach this, we should convert the icon from whatever format it is to the formats AIM supports.

(MSN only support PNG)
Comment 3 Roman Jarosz 2006-07-02 12:12:29 UTC
It's now fixed in Kopete 0.12, AIM converts it to JPEG before sending.
