It appears that globalhotkeys don't work due to the keyboard settings in kde, using a different keyboard mapping; for instance setxkbmap -model pc104 -layout us -variant basic which is my default, the hotkeys won't work. but with my other setting using setxkbmap -model pc104 -layout ro -variant winkeys, i have no problems. Removing -variant basic, thus leaving the keyboard settings: -model pc104 -layout us -variant basic, solves the problem. |
