Installed from:    Debian testing/unstable Packages

i  loaded  gyach 1.0.7 version   the newest 
it  loaded  properly  and  i used  it  from konsole  for  a day or  2  then all of  the sudden  it  quit  working  in konsole  and  now  it  only  works  in su mode  in konsole

KDE 3.4.x is old; try updating to KDE 3.5.x

FYI, I doubt this has anything to do with Konsole.
