Yes, it occurs the same to me. I attach a image explaining the bug. I have two albums of "The Rasmus" band: - "Hide From The Sun" (2005) - "Dead Letters" (2003) I have verified the tags of ALL these songs, but look at the attached image to know the problem. Note: Before those two albums I had a single of "The Rasmus" containing 4 songs, some of them with the same name but the 4 with different album name ("Shot" was the album name of the single). I erased it and rescanned the collection 3 times. Created attachment 16349 [details]
Album and Compilation error
In the collection view, right click on the album (Hide From the Sun) and click "Unmark as a compilation" i just wanted to add that this might help for the problem when compilation status has been incorrectly detected, but this report & the technical problem is about incorrect expanding/interpretation of album/compilation pair in the context browser A note before I start: I think the bug I observed is similar to this one, so I don't open a new bug but add my information here. If you find it is a different bug, then move this comment or send me a notice and I will open a new bug for this. I've added a new album and Amarok splits the second CD into two parts, one containing six songs as a compilation (correct) and one song in an album (incorrect). First thought it might be possible that Amarok has created two different album-entries in the database but a inspection of the database yielded that there is only one id for the second disc and alle tracks belonging to it carry this id correctly. This bug might be related to changeing the albuminformation within Amarok because that was done before this wierd behaviour started. This is the only compilation/album which is displayed in two parts but it is a little bit annoying. Greetings, Kai My System: Debian testing; completly updated Kernel: 2.6.20 (compiled by me) (if you need further information, screenshots, etc. feel free to contact me) *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 172953 *** I think my report fits this bug, Amarok 2 Beta 2 shows an album wich songs are from different artists as different albums. Also the behaviour is a litte erratic as there are albums with two songs and albums with one. I attach an image showing it. Sorry, I post on a duplicated. |
