can't confirm... No crash here. Going to the website's homepage works just fine. KDE 3.5.2 r522440. Running SuSE Linux 9.3 x86_64. Package is kdebase3 3.5.2-2 This is a hard fault. Reproduces every time. Causes signal 11 (SIGSEGV). This seems to have been a problem between the 64-bit versions of Konqueror, nsplugin and gplflash. The web page http://www.iinet.net.au contains Flash animations. The gplflash package was 0.4.13-5 installed from Packman RPMs. I changed my plugins and Flash setup and the bug no longer occurs. I de-installed gplflash-0.4.13-5 and kdebase3-nsplugin64-3.5.2-2 and installed kdebase3-nsplugin-3.5.2-2 (the 32-bit plugin support package). The site now works and Flash displays using flash-player-7.0.63.0-1.1. I suppose the bug should be changed so that it reports a problem with the interaction between 64-bit nsplugin and 64-bit gplflash. How this crashes Konqueror, I have no idea, but I do know it should be impossible to reproduce with a 32-bit machine. If gplflash crashes, it's a gplflash bug. We're not going to add workarounds for that in Konqueror. seems to be gplflash issue. |
