Version: 0.4.0 (using KDE KDE 3.5.1)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

In showfoto there is no way (I could find) to pause a slide show for a while eg to explain something about the photo just beeing displayed.

In digikam there is the slideshow kipi plugin which has such a feature. By pointing the mouse in the right upper corner one can conviniently pause a slide show and then simply go on by moving the mouse out of that corner.

But I wanted to look at photo friends brought with them on an external media so would have had to copy all the photos in my digikam folder first which is not what I (and perhaps my friends) wanted.

krienke,

With digikam 0.9.1, Showfoto has a new native SlideShow tool (written from scratch) witch can be paused like kipi-plugins slide show.
