You haven't specified product, component, kde version or platform. Please specify them, or it's very hard for anyone to know what you're referring to Reopen when you can tell us what program you're talking about. I am talking about Kmail though I mailed this bug from KMail 1.9.1 bug report facility ! I received another [Bug 124174] which makes KMail crash when trying to open it ! Ok. Now please explain your problem in detail. I can't understand what your bug is about. could not believe it ! When I receive a mail with multiple attachements (a collection of jpeg pictures for example) ; I may want to take some action on all of them or some of them like "display", "copy"... ; what I can do is select those to be processed upon with the mouse but when the selection is made and piped through "display", "copy"... only the first document is processed ; is this clear ? How do you select the files? Are you selecting them in the MIME-tree viewer, or by selecting the icons that appear at the end of the message? Perhaps a screenshot would make this clearer Feedback timeout, but please reopen if you have the answers to the questions in comment #6. Thanks! ok back with this again ; the selection is done with mouse on received message with a selection for example of many jpeg documents attached to the message that I want to open with gimp ; only one opens ! It is actually not possible to select multiple attachments with the mouse. What you are doing is selecting text, not attachments. Then you right-click on a link. The action then has nothing to do with the selection, only with the link you right-clicked on. Therefore this is the expected behavior. Stange as apparently you have the same presentation as icons displayed in a directory ; can this be managed I mean the icons would then be positionned in a bottom section of the window like they would be belonging to an open directory ; I think a Windows mail tool does that but I am not sure ; when you prepare a message with attachments those attachments are listed in a bottom section of the window where they can be handled by the mouse.
