Version:           3.5.1 (using KDE 3.5.1, Debian Package 4:3.5.1-4 (testing/unstable))
Compiler:          Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.14-kanotix-9

When I access my home directory through system:/ no picture thumbnails are displayed, not for the files nor in the tooltips - although the previews are enabled. Similar weirdo for sound files. And it is not possible anymore to play mp3 files from any directory accessed through system:/ with xmms. Seems as that system:/ is pretty garbled in KDE 3.5.

Can someone please assign this bug to kio (component system) instead of konqueror?

No problem in KDE-3.5.5
