Description CaCO3 2006-03-15 14:02:40 UTC
Version: 1.9.1 (using KDE 3.5.1, Debian Package 4:3.5.1-2 (testing/unstable))
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.15-kanotix-1

In kmail, I often want to click on the most top mail in the mail list, but move to high with my mouse.
I then mostly click on the SUBJECT-column, which then resorts my mail list.
I then have to click 3 times on the DATE-column, until it is again on "DATE ^".
It would be a nice feature, if we could check a box to protect the change of the columns sort order.

I think that it is a duplicate of http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=44190 and yes, it is a big usability problem.
