Version:           0.12 svn (using KDE KDE 3.5.1)
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs

If you receive a file via Jabber, a window pops up. Click on "Location" or what ever the English word is on the button next to the file-name.

You can choose the location to save the file to. In the opened file-dialogue, click on "save". The chat-window of the person that send you the file will get on top of the transfer-dialogue.

Expected behaviour would be to leave the transfer-dialogue on top.

This is a problem of the kwin focus stealing prevention.

Will be fixed in kde4 if file transfer notification appears in the chatwindow as planed.

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
