Description Anders Storsveen 2006-03-06 10:35:55 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.1)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

the kicker seems to get the screen size from primary screen every time, even on when it is on second screen.

In this picture I think I have it set to 100% size, but the screensize is larger than on primary screen (lcd@1400x1050):

so kicker sets itself where it thinks it should be... If I maximize windows in the setup they maximize correctly, but kicker covers them, same place it is in the screenshot. autohiding doesn't work correctly, and changing config of it doesn't work at all. moving the "placement" setting autohide and stuff doesnt work at all. If I change res so that sec is smaller that pri, it still alignes after primary screen's geometry, as long as it doesn't go offscreen. that means if I have a panel at 50% it doesnt center horizontally, but center to the primarys geometry, but doesn't go offsreen either, so it's at the bottom of the screen but not offscreen. if you got what I meant...

using ati-fglrx drivers if that has something to do with anything

Kicker is currently unmaintained, you can look to your distribution for help, however.
