In my eyes it is very easy to add new manual pages and also new navigation categories to the KDE Help Center. And there is at least one ways to do that. The common case is that a user wants to browse the help pages. In my optinion the only ones who want to add new pages are either packages (e.g. a new application gets installed -> the new documentation is also available) or people who ship a distribution with own changes and want them to get documented in the KDE Help Center. Both of them know how to add new manual pages, no GUI necessary. But I suggest to deploy some sort of documentation somewhere which explains how to add new pages to the KDE Help Center. When I worked myself into this software, I failed to find a tutorial for it.... I only understood how the KDE Help Center works after I spent hours of doing research and testing. |
