I too have this problem with KPDF version 0.5 compiled from sources, gcc 3.4.3, Linux 2.6.15.4. In fact, I have not seen watch file work at all. Never worked for me too since I moved to ext3 (was reiserfs before). kpdf: 0.5.1 Slackware Current, Kernel 2.6.15.6 Update: I've been watching this issue and it works for me most of the time (I use reiserfs) but sometimes, after a document has been open for a long time it stops working and I have to close KPDF and reopen it to get it to work again. Suppose you open the same PDF in multiple KPDF sessions, then the watch file works only in the last window, all the previous windows show the same old PDF. (KPDF: 0.5.4) to #4 it works here. *** Bug 139469 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 162207 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 148370 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Thank you for your bug report or feature suggestion. The "KPDF" application is no longer maintained, and all tickets are now closed. We recommend to switch to the "Okular" application.
