I am using the svn version of kopete  (25/02/2006).  The yahoo plugin doesnot remember what state it was in after it reconnects back. This is what andred said to me on irc:

me: even though the connection is restored after a disconnect, it does not restore my invisible status and puts me back into visible state

<andred>  that's a limitation of libkopete afaict, not the yahoo plugin. you should maybe file a new bugreport..

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
