Adding the copy and paste options under the right click menu are a helpful assition, now I would like to see a few more.

When right clicking on a blank space in the calendar add "paste" as well as "new event from template" and list the templates to select from, or "new <template_name> event" and list a the first few templates.

When right clicking on an existing event give the option to change categories.  Also give the option to move to another resource (basically cut/paste with resource dialog all in one step).

good ideas.
we do have Paste in the context menu by now, however

I definitely like "new from template"
and also using the menu to copy or move to another calendar
