Sentry Crash Report:

Description Valentin Kuznetsov 2006-02-27 16:59:37 UTC
Version: 1.9.1 (using KDE KDE 3.5.1)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs
Compiler: gcc 4.0.2
OS: Linux

Hi, once I switched to kde 3.5.1 I started getting a lot of problems with kmail (version 1.9.1). First mess with namespaces, which leads to folder duplication (additional "~" folder which holds all my folders). inbox or INBOX appearence at start up and now flooding of incoming messages. I use autocheck of my Emails with interval of 1 minute. So, when new mail arrive and if I NOT read it, it start duplicates itself multiple time until I read it and make some action. I just got 32 copies of the same Email. To prove that it only happens with new version of kmail I remove versio 1.9.1 and downgrade to 1.8 and problem went away.
Valentin.

Works fine for me, using disconnected IMAP with a Cyrus server.

I used for a day disconnected IMAP and problem, indeed, went away.
So, it seems to me that IMAP is buggy when connection is dropped and restored.
Thanks for suggestion.
