Description Martin Metzker 2006-02-22 12:17:59 UTC
Version: 1.9.1 (using KDE 3.5.0, Debian Package 4:3.5.0-2bpo2 (3.1))
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-13)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.15.3

kmail is unsure whether there are 226 or 227 emails in my inbox.
what i did:
i selected all emails and executed a filter "if [ header contains ... ]; then move ...".
then kmail fetched all mail again (took for ever) and kept being unsure about how many emails there are. 6 minutes later it came to the conclusion, that there are 227 emails in my inbox, which is exactly the amount i had before i executed the filter (i selected the wrong one).

Do you still experience this issue in a recent kmail? Wrong numbering of mails has been mostly fixed recently.

Sorry, I hardly ever use KDE (meanting QT-based Software) anymore. However, on all KDE-only machines I used lately, I never experienced this problem again.
