Description Tobias Bartsch 2006-02-20 22:05:21 UTC
Version: 3.5.1 (using KDE KDE 3.5.1)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

When clicking on a link to a pdf file, the file gets downloaded and displayed in konqueror (using kpdf).

If the user now wants to save the file, the file gets re-downloaded and then saved.

This is really annoying if the file size is large. I just viewed a 100MB scientific paper, then decided I wanted to keep it and hit "save as". Konqueror then started to download the paper again (although it must have been in some tmp folder on the harddisk already). The same re-downloading also happens, if one choses "Open with KPDF" from the "Location" menu in konqueror.
This also should not happen.
