When I have KSim running, kicker crashes very often.
The backtrace does not appear to be useful - it mostly contains "no debugging symbols" lines. I've included one at the end nevertheless.

When searching for similar bugs before this submission, I found a procedure to get a useful backtrace from gdb. So I left a xterm running, killed kicker and started it from the xterm while in my home directory using
kicker --nofork --nocrashhandler
I then added the panel KSim and kicker crashed (disappeared) after about a minute. I got a "Floating point exception" in the xterm, but no core in the current directory. So no backtrace.
It is true that I have about 12 applets running (including gaim and Skype), but the crashes used to happen even before I installed Skype - it took me some time to isolate KSim as the culprit, since it only happens rarely, unless I make some clicks in the configuration dialogs.

Here's the backtrace. It is from a normally started (Alt-F2, no options) kicker, and this time the signal is SIGSEGV, and not SIGPFE as usual:
