resurfaced. I upgraded to 4.7.2 on arch linux and suddenly this prevents me from sending mail. If I perhaps entered the wrong kwallet password this time (the smtp one is saved), the error should be clearer and this bugs becomes a duplicate of https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=120661 Still searching for how to make it ask me again. closing and reopening the wallet, the manager and kmail itself had no effect, so it appears the problem lies elsewhere. Autoresolved somehow. :S The original report is quite old, I'd rather close this report if it works for everyone. The original report was exactly what I experienced, so that's an odd proposal. What I forgot to mention was that on reboot, kmail asked me again for the server password (then everything worked). It was already stored in the wallet before and indeed it was the one for mailtransport that I removed hoping I would be asked again about it. |
