Looks like memory corruption, but I've been using signing and encrypting for years on long-running KMail/Kontact sessions and I've never seen this happen. Yes, it worked for me also. But around December 2005 I first noticed it. First I thought that it can happen. I have a rather similar problem in kmail KMail Version 1.12.2 (KDE 4.3.2 ubuntu-karmic beta) I can crypt mails, but i cannot sign them ! kmail complains about no valid key or wrong pass phrase. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kdepim/+bug/451719 Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report. KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2. We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback. |
