I'm not sure I completely get what you want -- is the following correct? * Copy merged: create a selection on a group, press copy: the clipboard now contains the selected area of all layers rendered in the group together. This is hard to do at the moment, because I forgot to implement creating selections on groups :-( * Copy flatten: create a selection (on any layer), press copy: the clipboard contains now the selected area of the complete rendered image. This would be easy to do, after 1.5, because it would entail a new action and new strings. * Copy layers cropped: select an area in a group, press copy, the clipboard now contains layer group with all sublayers separate, but cropped to the outline of the selection with for every sublayer, only the selected pixels copied. (This is also hard to do, but I think it would be the right way to handle selections on group layers. That is exactly what i was thinking :) Especially copy flattened would be of great interest at least to me, since that's one of my tricks, so to speak, that i use in the gimp when doing picture-based web designs :) I welcome a feature "combine layers" with option "[x] flatten transparancy with background color [white]" to flatten a pic. As a workaround I add a new Layer with mybackground color. Save as jpeg. Works with other programms which can't show transparent pictures like the kino videoeditor. I think this is already possible in krita now,and should probably be closed Confirmed fixed. |
