There is already a typing notification for icq in the status list of the message window. My wish is to show a popup for typing information which can be configured under "Configure notifications..." to show popups like the ones when a user goes online for example.

Looks like this request is obsolete. Currently global typing notifications are exist (since rev 1125798, 3 month ago). This bug must be closed then.
