Description Dustin Widmann 2006-02-07 05:27:49 UTC
Version: 0.11.1 (using KDE KDE 3.5.1)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

With "Auto Spell Check" enabled, Kopete has been acting strangely. As you would expect it to normally do, it colors it red when I have a supposedly misspelled word, but when the messages are sent the format isn't being removed. Other people are seeing messages with typos or whatnot highlighted in red. It doesn't seem to be doing this consistently, and I'm not positive how to reproduce it either, but it does seem to be doing it more often than not.

Don't we disable spellchecking when rich-text is enabled for exactly this problem?
Comment 2 Matt Rogers 2006-02-19 05:58:03 UTC
yes we do, but if the user has turned spellchecking on, then they will still see the problem.

Which protocols is this bug seen with?
