Hi!

This is a big problem for me when I'm talking with friends on MSN. I don't know if the same problem occurs on the other networks but it often occurs for me on MSN.

When I'm talking with MSN contacts I often get a message telling me that the message could not be sent because of a lost connection or because Kopete could not connect, even if the contact is still online.
It is really annoying because, I had to copy/cut my "lost" message and send it again and generally it works after 1 or 2 retries.

In my opinion, I think that Kopete developers should implement a simple routine that automaticaly catches "lost" messages and tries to send these messages again to the contact if it is still online, so that the user does not have to do it by himself!
This function could try to send the "lost" messages 3 or 4 times by default before giving up.

What do you think about that?

Thank you and sorry if my English is bad :).

Nicolas Blanco.

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
