Description Luis Mineiro 2006-01-16 11:28:10 UTC
Version: 1.1.2 (using KDE KDE 3.4.2)
Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package
OS: Linux

Whenever I receive ameeting invitation from anyone like:

"This Guy @ Office 1" <hisemail@office1.company.com>

I get the following error message:

""This Guy @ Office 1""
The email address you entered is not valid because it contains more than one @. You will not create valid messages if you do not change your address.

If I edit the message (using Maildirs) and replace the quoted @ to something like "-" it works as expected.: "This Guy - Office 1" <hisemail@office1.company.com>

Reassigning all KOrganizer bug reports and wishes to the newly created
korganizer-devel mailing list.
Comment 2 Denis Kurz 2016-09-24 18:42:24 UTC
This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of korganizer (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
