Sentry Crash Report:

Description NeilMcIver 2006-01-13 01:17:28 UTC
Version: 1.8.2 (using KDE 3.4.2, Mandrake Linux Cooker i586 - Cooker)
Compiler: Target: i586-mandriva-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.12-12mdk

If I select a PGP message in my inbox, kmail correctly prompts for my passphrase in a popup box. But if I ignore the pop up box and try to select another folder, nothing happens. Then if I cancel the popup box, it tells me I entered an invalid passphrase and asks if I want to retry or cancel. I click cancel again and kmail crashes.

Very predictable and repeatable on my system. Feel free to query for more info if helpful.

Thanks much in advance. Long live linux.

Backtrace? It doesn't also crash when just cancelling without changing folder and/or entering invalid passphrase?
Comment 2 NeilMcIver 2006-01-14 18:17:12 UTC
Correct. If I only do not change folders, I can enter a passphrase or cancel and all works as expected.
Comment 3 Stefan Monov 2007-02-06 00:08:30 UTC
Neil, would you please provide a backtrace for the crash so it can be identified and fixed?
Comment 4 NeilMcIver 2007-02-07 03:37:54 UTC
Here's the backtrace I get when following the above procedure. Sorry I missed that the last time. (Didn't know what a backtrace was). The crash still occurs today for me. My Platform is Mandriva Linux 2007, kernel 2.6.19.1, kmail 1.9.4
