Description Arthur B. 2006-01-09 20:03:13 UTC
Version: 3.5 (using KDE KDE 3.5.0)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

The audiocd kioslave seems to work at first, it detects the CD and provides the right files. I tried to play the CD from the fullcd directory - it works, encoding works. However, on a closer look, I saw that the track numbers for separate files were completely bogus... for example, a CD with 20 tracks will yield to offering tracks 1,2,3,5,6,7,27,31... not only aren't all the tracks present but the number is of course buggy. kaudicreator sees the CD normally, as does kscd. Maybe I should mention it's an USB external CD drive. Cddb lookup doesn't work, I get a CDDB Information - Unknown Error.txt file which is empty.
