To reproduce do

- start Kompare
- the icons on the left hand side are not displayed. Instead there are red boxes only.

That dialog is likely to change anyway for the next release of Kompare (KDE 4.0), (see for example bug 119826) so I don't think we are going to change it now.

The icon names used in the KDE 3 Kompare are simply not existing. This is fixed in 4.0.0 (it uses valid Oxygen icons now). I can have a look at what I can do for the 3.5 branch, but I have to find the equivalent old names for the icons.
